These activities are normally only available for school groups doing World War II as part of the national curriculum. However this is a chance for all the family to come. It is also a good opportunity for teachers to come along to see how this enjoyable interactive learning experience works with a view to bringing school groups in the future.

The fort offers great educational value and fun for the children and adults alike. The more senior members of our community find reliving this real life experience fascinating. You can experience an old 1940s school room supervised by a very strict headmaster complete with cane, Air raid shelter drill, Weymouth at War, World War II shop and rationing and Mrs Mop doing the washing at home.

Our British Restaurant will also be open for Rations Bags for the children & Soup and Bacon Sarnies for the adults.

Attendance is by ticket only and numbers will be restricted to manageable levels, so please book early to guarantee your place on one of the two designated days.

Pre-booked tickets available from: The Tourist Information Centre,
