Wessex Actors Company (WAC) was founded by Jo Puttick with the initial aim of producing professional theatre each summer in the open air, principally in Dorset. Their aim is to provide high quality theatre as entertainment, whilst also enhancing audiences’ understanding and perception of the play being enjoyed. Actors will be experienced, local and professional, rather than being brought in from ‘outside’, as they believe there is so much local talent that deserves to be showcased.  Audiences can enjoy a picnic prior to being entertained by first class drama.
