Every 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month up to and including the 13th December (excluding January) Nothe Fort Artillery Display Team.

The Fort’s Artillery Volunteers show off their musketry and cannon handling skills with several big bangs.

Come and be amazed at the detail and accuracy of the scaled matchstick replicas of modern warships on display. The whole of our exhibition area is filled with these exquisite models that have taken one man a lifetime to build. Open during normal opening hours.

Wednesday 28th October  11.am – 4pm  Bedlam & Broomsticks

Come and enjoy Halloween Activities at The Nothe fort Ghosts,  Ghosts,   Ghosts………..
There are plenty at the Nothe Fort, as many people will testify, and that most ghostly time is  fast Approaching – Halloween.

There will be lots of wonderful creepy crafts for the children to make and a prize for the most imaginative and original fancy dress costume. The Mad Magician will be visiting with some very interesting tricks and allusions.

Friday 30th Saturday 31st October from 7.30pm Halloween Evenings

This will be admission by ticket only and limited places will be available.

These special evenings will start at 7.30pm with a delicious two course meal followed by coffee and chocolates.   A full bar is available for you to purchase your evening drinks.   You will then be taken on a tour of our haunted underground passages and told some ghostly stories that will send shivers down your spine!   Why not dress up for the occasion to get the true spirit of the evening.

The Fort View Café will be open from 7pm for any pre-dinner drinks that you may wish to buy and meet your host for the evening, David Goulden of the Dorset Paranormal Research Team.   Please note this event is not suitable for children under the age of sixteen years.   ghost shadow.jpg

Tickets priced £21 available to purchase on line or from the Nothe Fort Office Monday to Friday 9am – 3pm or from Nothe Fort Reception on Sundays.   When booking your tickets you will be asked for your choice from the menu.   If booking on line you will be contacted by e mail.

For those of you who do not wish to partake of the dinner, places are available to join the evening at 8.30pm for the tour only at the price of £7 per person.

Christmas Craft & Food Fayre: Sunday 6th December from 11am to 4.30pm

father christmas 2015.jpgCome along and find that perfect, individual present from amongst  the many stalls positioned within the historic Nothe Fort.   There will also be a Children's craft workshop, Santa Grotto, Reindeer hunt and face painting.   The Fort View Café will  be open for some seasonal treats and of course the Fort's shop must be visited on the way out for those special Fort gifts.
